BUSTER
2010 - 2020

Chester-Drawers first ever picture frame was for Buster and Ann. May the Happy memories live on

Though we don’t know all of Buster’s story, one look at his photo tells you everything you need to know: this was a dog who was deeply loved.

Buster, a beautiful Rottweiler cross, was the very first to be remembered through a Chester Drawers photo frame — a small gesture for a life that clearly meant the world to his mum, Ann.

There’s something quietly powerful about a dog’s loyalty, the way they make a house feel like home, and how they stay beside us through the highs and lows of life. Even without the details, we know Buster brought comfort, joy, and that irreplaceable presence only a good dog can give.

Here’s to Buster — for the walks taken, the cuddles shared, and the memories that still bring a smile. Thank you, Ann, for letting chester-Drawers be part of honouring him.

WILLOW
2024 - 2025

Forever Loved

Willow always had a way of making me feel better — like when she’d rest her head gently on my shoulder and snuggle in, reminding me I wasn’t alone. Even now, I smile thinking of the times she’d give me a little nose-pop on the shoulder while I was driving, followed by one of her cheeky, silent barks — just to say, "I'm here."

She loved sitting at the market stall, her paws hanging over the door, watching everyone at the café go by — especially if there was a chance of someone dropping a sausage!

Willow was a very special dog who completely stole my heart. On the rubbish days, she was my comfort and my calm. She made everything better — just by being her.

JACK
2008 - 2021

“A little dog with the biggest heart.”

Some photos speak for themselves — this is one of them.

Jack came into my life in 2008, when I was just 17. That day, we were only meant to be picking up dog food — but we came home with a tiny Jack Russell puppy instead. He was barely bigger than my hand, yet somehow already bursting with personality.

From the start, Jack was my soul dog — my rock through life’s hardest moments. No matter what was happening, I could always rely on him. He had a huge presence, a funny streak, and the quirkiest obsession with TV. He’d bark at “doggies on the telly” like it was his job, and his antics would have me and my friends crying with laughter.

Jack wasn’t just special to me — even now, friends still bring him up in conversation, saying “He was such a great dog.” He left paw prints on more than one heart.

He was full of life and loved a good adventure. We’d walk for hours, and he’d always want to go just a bit further. But one day, something changed. He paused on a walk, looked up at me as if to say, “Dad, I think it’s time for me to take it easy.” So I picked him up and carried him all the way home.

Jack was with me until I was 29 — 13 years of love, loyalty, and unforgettable memories.

Even now, I know he’s still with me. By my side. In my heart. Always.

ODIN
2011 -2025

Mastinis Odin of March

Some dogs don’t need words to tell their story — their eyes, their presence, and the way they hold space beside us says it all.

Odin was clearly one of those dogs. With a face full of wisdom, calm strength, and quiet affection, he carried himself with the kind of grace only age and love can shape.

We may not know all the chapters of Odin’s life, but we honour him here for what we do see: a loyal friend, a beautiful soul, and a life that meant everything to someone.

Rest well, Odin. You were — and are — so very loved.
