Our Mission
On March 2nd, 2025, my best friend and loyal companion — a boxer-bullmastiff who had been by my side for 10 wonderful years — suddenly passed away while walking back to my car. Just five minutes earlier, we’d been charging around the field together, playing ball and enjoying life. Then, without warning, he stumbled into my legs and collapsed.
In that moment of panic, I realised he was slipping away. I burst into tears as my heart broke like never before. The pain was unbearable, and the hole he left in my life could never be filled.
A few hours later, after taking him to the vet, I sat in silence with one clear thought: I could either let the pain consume me, or I could turn it into something meaningful — something that would keep his memory alive. I also knew I wasn’t alone in this kind of grief. If I could create something to ease that pain for others, even just a little, then that’s what I would do.
And that’s how Chester Drawers was born.
It was his nickname — a silly, sweet one that stuck — and I’ve always loved woodworking and helping people. So I decided to bring it all together.
Here at Chester Drawers, we understand the deep bond between pets and their people. Every handcrafted wooden design is made with love, care, and respect, to honour your pet’s memory in a way that truly reflects their spirit.
This is a personal project — a labour of love, not a business. I work full time, and Chester Drawers is something I do in my own time, simply because I believe in it.
